AP United States History

The AP United States history course weaves together both the factual understanding of historical events with the broad shape and themes that bind American history. Students will be expected to expand their factual knowledge of United States history while also developing their analytical thinking skills. Primary source documents will serve as the basis for this analysis. The course will be presented in a chronological manner, but will develop broad themes that allow students to make connections across different periods.
